Once again it was another exceptionally busy session for the Hadfield Coming Together Team. It was a pleasure to spend my day helping Bev, Gill, Jac, Jacky, Leanne, Mam, Mel, Si, Vic and Viv package up the food parcels for BELLIES NOT BINS.

Hadfield Coming Together Group in conjunction with Carmel Hadfield Church managed to serve 84 food parcels to folk from Hadfield, Padfield and Tintwistle this afternoon.

You could get all sorts for your £1.50 today, including: chicken goujons, chocolate orange cookies, cucumber, eggs, lemon cake slices, mangoes, mac & cheese bites, mini scotch eggs, pork loin steaks, smoked cheese, sticky toffee muffins, tomatoes and lots more.

A massive thank you to Aldi Glossop, Billy’s Plaice, Fareshare, Greggs Stalybridge, Lidl Glossop, Mat Jones Fruit & Veg Wholesales & Retailers, M&S Glossop, Tesco Glossop and Tesco Express for their utterly fantastic food donations.

Also a huge thank you to Bev & Mel, Christine and Mark for collecting the donations on our behalf. In addition, a big shout out to Bev & Mel, Bev D, Bruce, Fiona, and Vince for kindly delivering food parcels to folk in our local community too. As ever, your time, commitment and hard work is greatly appreciated!
