Fiona Sloman has lived in Buxton for more than 20 years and her daughters went to Buxton Community School. First elected in 2011 Fiona has served on the council’s housing committee, helping to bring housing back under the control of the council and has worked for improvements to the service.
Fiona has enjoyed helping local people with their problems. She is also an active supporter of the Residents of Fairfield Association.
Fiona is the Council’s Executive Member for Housing and Licensing. Fiona Sloman is one of two Labour councillors for Stone Bench ward on High Peak Borough Council, working alongside Cllr David Kerr.
