Councillors across the High Peak are allocated funding each year to support community groups and organisations working in their ward. Following the pandemic this amount has been increased to £1,000 to support groups that are restarting events and activities cancelled during the pandemic. The funding has supported projects helping to reduce holiday hunger, arts shows, accessible ramps, arts for wellbeing, and to help a local running group put up markers on the Trans Pennine Trail at Gamesley Woods. If you have a project that might fit, get in touch with your local councillor.
