Cllr Damien Greenhalgh: delighted with the success of Hadfield’s Hadfield pump track at the Bankswood Park
Hadfield ‘s new £85,000 pump track has been a roaring success – thanks to a winning combination made up of your Labour council working closely with local community groups.
Labour’s lead councillor for leisure Damien Greenhalgh said:
“I am absolutely thrilled to see so many youngsters using the park already. It was great to work with the local cycling club and the wider community on the plans to make sure it met local needs.
“We are now keen to work with other groups across the borough to increase local opportunities for people to take part in outdoor activities.”
